Frank Simmons passed away Monday night in Lincoln City. He had been ill in recent weeks with a heart condition.

I only got a chance to know Frank over the past two years. We spoke privately to one another on a few occasions and I was always happy to see him. I loved his sense of humor. I'm certain he will be greatly missed by his relatives and his many friends.
